Operational Risk Manager

Major responsibilities:

Embed operational risk and internal control policies and frameworks
Participation in elaboration of models for operational risk evaluation
Analysis of risks associated with the new products from the operational risk prospective
Review business process and related system functions, and identify potential system risk
Cooperate with business units and follow up any operational risk issues
Maintenance of the database of risk and controls and follow up on action plans
Conduct operational risk management review and prepare relevant management reporting

Requirements:

Degree in Economics/Finance from a reputable university
Minimum 2-year operational risk management/audit experience with commercial/investment bank (focus on process management)
Proficiency in using PC (MS Office is a must)
Sound knowledge of banking products, understanding of trading process(trade entry, trade booking, valuation, etc)
An excellent understanding of advanced operational risk and internal control frameworks, including operational risk measurement techniques and ‘best practices’
Fluent English
